Why do I need to register?
You can see some (though not all) of the forums without registering. However, just about every forum requires you to be
a registered memeber in order to respond to posts. Registration allows us to keep track of membership and most importantly,
it allows us to validate your email address and prevent spam on the boards.
How do I register?
To register, simply click on the 
button. You can find it on the menu bar in the upper right hand corner. Follow the instruction and make sure you enter a valid email address. Once you finish registration, you should receive an email with a link. Click the link and you will be granted full access. The same username and password will work on all Maalot sites - no need to reregister for a different site.
Why didn't I get a validation link in email?
Often, the email validation link gets stuck in junk/spam folders. Make sure to check in there for the email.
How do I post?
To post a message, find the appropriate board and click the 
button. The button can be found on the right side of the page, just above the list of messages in the board.
Why wont it let me post?
Most boards require that you are a validated member to post. If you don't see the button, then you are either not a member, not validated (by clicking the link sent to you by email when you registered), or you are trying to post in a board with restricted access.
What do I do if I forgot my password?
Click the "Forgot Password" link from the homepage.
How do I hide my email address?
Email addresses are always hidden from guests and unregistered members. If you want to hide your email from everyone, click on the 
button in the menu bar at the top left (you must be logged in first). On the left hand side of the screen, find "Personal Forum Preferences" and click on "Board Settings." Find the "Hide e-mail Adress" option and check it off, then click SAVE at the bottom of the screen.
How do I get my event to be listed in the calendar?
Any registered member can post in the "Events" forum. However, only moderators can put events into the calendar. Please email your favorite mod with info on events and they can post it.
Why does it ask me for my password when I go to a different Maalot site?
Although the same username and password will work on any Maalot site (IE: www.maalotwashington.com, www.maalotwest.com, etc..), you will still need to log into each site independantly.
